Case study

The one with the
alleged underselling but over charging…

Advice was provided to a large manufacturer of cable accessories in response to a claim alleged against them by a customer that the client had knowingly under supplied its products.  The client was seeking payment of outstanding invoices for the supply of cable accessories only to be met with an allegation that the client had purposely undersupplied their goods.

Detailed work was undertaken in relation to disputing the allegations. This required analysis of the manufacturing and packaging processes of the client company as well as understanding how margins for error were accounted for.

The case resolved positively during court proceedings with the client being paid for their supply and receiving a payment towards their legal costs.
