Tenet announces new Head of Disputes and welcomes US consultant to support organic growth
Birmingham-based specialist fraud disputes, investigations and financial crime compliance firm Tenet has announced a key leadership appointment and the arrival of a new consultant as it continues to strengthen its boutique practice.

Liane Atcheson promoted to Head of Disputes
Liane Atcheson, one of Tenet’s longest-serving lawyers, has been promoted to Head of Disputes. Liane joined the firm in 2016, originally to cover a three-week holiday and has since become central to Tenet’s growth, playing a leading role in many of the firm’s most complex fraud disputes.
With a background in managing high-volume insurance fraud work at a national firm, Liane made the shift to commercial civil fraud when she joined Tenet. Since then, she’s helped shape Tenet’s disputes team with her meticulous approach, calm leadership, and commitment to doing the right thing for clients and colleagues alike.
Tenet founder Arun Chauhan said:
“Liane is one of the most selfless and dedicated people I’ve ever worked with. She has supported Tenet, and me personally through the years, always putting others ahead of herself. This promotion is long overdue and so well deserved.”

Tristan Bramble joins as Consultant
Also joining the team is Tristan Bramble, a US-qualified lawyer who brings over 15 years of experience across the US and UK. Tristan has held senior legal and compliance roles at the US Department of Justice, HSBC, PwC, and international law firms in London.
Tristan met Arun at a Palace of Westminster whistleblowing event in London last year and their conversation led to a coffee, then a collaboration. Now, Tristan is working closely with the team to support Tenet’s growing presence in London reinforcing the team’s expertise in financial crime investigations and advisory work.
“Tristan’s sharp insight and practical advice really stood out from the start,” said Arun. “He gets what we’re about – specialist advice without ego and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”
A firm with purpose
Now approaching its 10th year, Tenet continues to focus exclusively on complex fraud disputes, investigations and financial crime compliance. The firm has been recognised with several national awards including Boutique Law Firm of the Year (Legal Business Awards) and for Client Service (Clio Reisman Awards).
Tenet’s clients range from SME owners, directors, and high-net-worth investors to UK and US listed companies, fintech providers, and housing associations. The team is often called upon to step in where allegations of fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of duty threaten the integrity or future of a business. But it’s Tenet’s culture that really sets it apart.
There are no billable hour targets. No presenteeism. No internal competition. Just a team of like-minded specialists who believe that legal advice can be excellent and human. Much of Tenet’s work comes through referrals, a testament to the trust built with clients and professional networks alike.
As the firm continues to grow organically the values it was built on remains strong: doing the right thing, with the right people, for the right reasons.
