Our goal is to ensure all attendees leave with practical, actionable strategies to better assess their organisation’s risk.

  • Awareness: Understanding the nature of fraud, including accounting fraud, and encouraging internal reporting when “something doesn’t feel right,” beyond formal whistleblowing for compliance breaches.
  • Detection (internal): Using whistleblowing, data analytics, and cross‑team collaboration to identify risk e.g. DLO teams identifying tenancy fraud, and contract management working more closely with procurement to flag over‑zealous tendering or bidding practices.
  • Detection (external): Leveraging OSINT and other external intelligence tools to support fraud identification.
  • Offences and response: Practical examples of how FTP offences may arise for Housing Associations, including offences committed in the UK or against UK citizens, alongside recovery and return
