The one with the
new family member with the gift of persuasion

Advised a company in relation to loss caused by an employee and family member which caused the company to believe it was investing in various property transactions.  The estimated loss was more than £1m.  The defendant had the ability to be persuasive about opportunities which were actually false.

Advice was provided in relation to unravelling what had occurred as regards those investments and advising the family owned business in relation to seeking recovery through the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
