The one with
promises that needed to be justified

Advised a company in the medical industry in relation to defending proceedings brought against it, in which it was alleged that it had misstated the efficiency and performance of machinery to a customer.

The customer alleged that it had misstated certain elements of performance capability.  The client company believed the customer was seeking to return machinery, not due to genuine belief of misstatements having been made, but due to its own financial predicament.

The client instructed us to defend the proceedings vigorously focussed on the supporting evidence for their statements about the machinery.
