James is a trusted advisor to a range of high net worth individuals, FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and SME clients, together with high profile individuals/third parties (such as sports stars/celebrities and agencies alike) predominantly in the sport and entertainment industry.
James’ experience ranges from general commercial litigation matters incorporating breach of contract claims, sale of goods disputes, injunctive proceedings and shareholder and partnership disputes to more specialist areas focusing on fraud related issues arising from misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duties and cybercrime. James leads the team in dealing with breach of confidence claims, dishonest/fraudulent use of information by newspapers relating to voicemail interception “phone hacking” and reputational management issues. In this regard, he has been instrumental in recovering significant damages for his clients.
