Advice was provided to the director of a company in the medical machinery industry in relation to claims of misappropriation and unlawful means conspiracy with respect to one of their former senior employees.  It was alleged that the employee had misappropriated funds and misused intellectual property relating to medical machinery owned by the client company.

We provided advice in relation to the merits of the claim and advised in relation to all options for recovery of losses.  The client obtained after the event insurance to pursue their claim which created greater pressure on the defendant knowing that those insurers had reviewed the case and agreed with the merits of the claim.
